Kicking Off the Your Time to Climb Scholarship 2019!

| Read Time: 2 minutes

Nothing is more important than the drive to push yourself harder than you thought was possible to achieve a goal you have set for yourself. Even if you fall short and don’t quite reach your goal, the lessons you learn from the effort can be just as important as success.

That’s something we at the Tenge Law Firm, LLC, believe in—and it’s something we value in the future leaders of this country. That is why we are proud to kick off our “Your Time to Climb Scholarship” for 2019 to help students push themselves to new heights.

Your Time to Climb

Growing up in Alaska, J. Todd Tenge learned that you have to push yourself harder than anyone else will push you. Sometimes you have to work even harder than you thought possible to achieve your goals. It’s a lesson that has followed him throughout life, and something he sees time and again in his coworkers and in the young leaders of tomorrow. This scholarship is all about rewarding students who have reached deep down and pushed themselves to achieve their goals.

This is a one-time $1,000 scholarship for students nationwide who are currently in high school and are set to graduate this year, or who are in a four-year or two-year college. The deadline is June 11, 2019, so don’t delay. We’ll be contacting finalists to receive more information from them, and announcing our winner on July 9, 2019.

We Want to Hear From You!

To enter, we want you to write a short essay of just 500-1,000 words telling us about a time that you pushed yourself in order to reach a personal goal. This can be any kind of goal, but it should be something important to you—and we want to hear about how the effort was more than you thought you could accomplish. Tell us what you were trying to achieve, whether you achieved it or not.

Don’t be worried if you didn’t actually achieve the goal you were pushing for—sometimes, falling short teaches us much more than success. But what did you learn from the experience? Nothing is wasted as long as you learn from it, and it pushes you to try harder and climb higher than the last time. We draw inspiration every day from the hard work and determination of young people across the country, and we can’t wait to read your essay.
