[November 4, 2021 – Aurora, CO] — Aurora Police are still searching for the driver that caused a fatal hit-and-run accident Thursday morning.
Around 5:30 a.m. on I-225 near 6th Avenue, witnesses claim a dark SUV hit the front end of a Suburu Outback when changing lanes at a high speed, causing the Outback to roll. The man driving the Outback was ejected and pronounced deceased on the scene. The name of the victim has not been released.
The driver causing the crash did not stop and continued driving north on I-225.
