Stalled Vehicle Hit On I-70 Eastbound in Wheat Ridge Rear-End Collision

[March 21, 2022 – Wheat Ridge, CO] – According to the Wheat Ridge Police Department, a stalled vehicle was hit by another driver traveling on I-70 Eastbound.

Investigators say the I-70 rear-end crash happened at 9:30 am Monday morning. The driver of the moving vehicle was taken to the hospital to treat for significant injuries sustained in the crash.

Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) told reporters that the three right lanes on Interstate 70 Eastbound were closed between Exit 267 (Kipling Street) and Exit 269A (Highway 121) while the accident was being cleared.
