Few people want to dive headfirst into the carnage of a car wreck, but J. Todd Tenge does it every day at his law practice in Boulder, Colorado. For 27 years now, Todd has studied the art of the accident, its aftereffects and its legality. Most importantly, he discovers new ways to combat the insurance companies’ strategy of “delay, deny, and defend,” when their policyholder is to blame for another person’s injuries.
The Tenge Law Firm, LLC, is pleased to announce which students are still “climbing” for our $1,000 scholarship. We have yet to pick a winner, but we’ve narrowed the odds down to one in six!
Boulder was named “The Happiest City in the United States” by National Geographic and is affectionately known as “the city nestled between the mountains and reality.” This description refers both to the character of the city as well as to its location at the base of the Rocky Mountains.
Nothing is more important than the drive to push yourself harder than you thought was possible to achieve a goal you have set for yourself. Even if you fall short and don’t quite reach your goal, the lessons you learn from the effort can be just as important as success.
That’s something we at the Tenge Law Firm, LLC, believe in—and it’s something we value in the future leaders of this country. That is why we are proud to kick off our “Your Time to Climb Scholarship” for 2019 to help students push themselves to new heights.
Last year, our Colorado personal injury law firm offered a $1,000 prize to one outstanding scholar currently pursuing law, political science, sociology, criminology, or media studies. This scholarship was open to high school seniors or college students, who were asked to submit an essay about why they wanted to pursue a career related to law. The deadline was December 31, 2018, and we’ve finally managed to choose a winner!
