[October 31, 2021 – Aurora, CO] — Wyatt Labato, an Aurora teenager, was struck and killed by a car while he was trick-or-treating.
The incident occurred at approximately 6:15 PM near South Chambers Road and East Hampden Circle. Investigators believe that the 15-year-old stepped out in front of the Suburu’s driving path. He died a short time after arriving at the hospital.
Investigators suspect that the woman driving the Suburu was not speeding prior to the accident. The woman remained at the scene.
Aurora Police are asking if anyone was a witness to this accident or has camera footage, to contact the Aurora Police Traffic Investigations Unit or Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
